i have a problem with my speedo, it wont work @ all. Took it to the garage he said it seems to be an electrical fault?

Could faulty clocks cause this? or will it be to do with the engine electronics?

what car mate and are they actually electric? if so it could be one of the fuses in your fuse box which has gone or it could be the clocks themselves if its a cable clocks then it could be the cable has come out or has even snapped

i wish i had more knowledge bout the car. ive been looking at other posts and it seems that they are electic clocks. so that seems to eliminate the cable snapped diagnosis.
