picked up my corsa again tonight but its running like a bag of poo.
everytime it gets up to temperature the engine over presurises and dumps all the coolant out of the headertank. its also leaking coolant from cylinder 4 on the gasket (can see it seeping out) and its got a missfire.

i think its time to remove the head again and fit a genuine gm headgasket and head bolts, then get it mapped propperly. do jamsport map DTA?

has it got a new thermostat in it?was the head leaking before you sent it away?

new thermostat, and the head was on my old engine, it was removed, skimmed, new brass valve guides and fully rebuilt.

i think this is the best white corsa on the site, bar nona (apart from mine, i wish) stunning and i like the wheels

cheers mate. im in two minds about the wheels still. i like them but would like a set of mo's on it, i just want it to work now tho lol

head is torqued up to the spec in the haynes manual

i dont use degrees i just do ft lb and go up in stages.is the water leaking from the back end of the head near the water pipe or from the front??

you can see it seeping from cylinder 4 at the front of the engine (exhaust manifold) gearbox end

so its not on the back then.because they usually blow on the end water jacket in cyl no 4.when you take the head off i would check the block is nice and flat around that area
