Just wondering what coilovers on the market are front and rear height adjustable? Only ones i can think of at the moment are GAZ and fk

Also which ones lower the most? as i want to go low

Do they all work in the same way on the rear as im struggling to work out how the rear can be hieght adjustable as the springs and shocks are seperate

Cheers gavin

To make the rear height adjustable GAZ ones are just like the fron suspension layout i.e all one system rather being seperate spring and shocker

seems like a bad design tbh, moving the spring, the beam wasn't designed to have the spring in a different location

Oh right. I was assuming that there would need to be some support on the beam still.

How much do the gaz one lower front and rear? As ive been in contact with the factory as its just down the road from me and they can sell me some direct for a good price

they sit on the axle like factory springs but they use an adjustable spring seat to adjust ride height. I have them on mine but i took the spring seat out completely.

I dont see how they are a bad design as the damper would still move in the same way even if there was a spring there.

low as they go at the back and about 1inch left of the thread up front - which also means 1inch of travel before it hits the bumpstop. Its probably about 65/70mm max up front and 75mm at the back.

ride quality is ok. Bumpy as you'd expect. I think they are well made but you will hear people comment on shit welds and thin shocks. I had mine that low on standard rims and it looks fucking good mate

Very true. We designed the new Gaz kit for the corsa B (also some others such as the cavalier and corsa c is coming soon)

very comfortable even when down low (can go as soft as standard)
full damping adjustment
full height adjustment front and rear
threads dont corrode
Zinc plated
Actually designed on the road and track on a corsa B by a corsa enthusiast

example of the new kits:

FK and Gaz are in a totally different league.

Gaz have decades of motorsport experience, FK are just copied pattern parts, no real on the road development into each individual kit, just 'made to fit'

Gaz kit is £580 RRP to CS users they are £495+ deliivery.
