and he made me v annoyed. i fitted my gmax suspension and before i put the wheels on my mum phoned them and said what my intentions were, as im a named driver earning my own NCB with directline.

The guy said madam we cant cover any vehicle with modifications unless the person is over 25.

The car is booked in to see tomnova16 and i have fanblades and i havent ordered the tyres yet.

I pay yearly so i cant cancel the insurance and obv 1 years NCB will be a good thing come january. i am totally stuck for ideas, anyone got any suggestions?

you can cancel yor insurance they will refund you for the rest of the year, the only thing you will lose is the 6 months NCB you have built up!

it does say on their website about not covering mods until your over 25!

You can cancel - they should give you all the remaining FULL months on the policy back.

what a shit rule. Try flux, they have insured all my modded cars since i was 18.

A company that charges extra for suspension mods is clueless tbh.

I havent told my comp bout my exhaust an suspention, i plan to tho but havent got money atm to cover it.

I plan on saying - Had some sort of accidnet which damaged my exhaust so i got a new system fitted but as i wanted it dun properly i opted for a full stainless steel system.

Praps you could try summat similar, cant thing of summat for suspention tho thts a hard one

Insurance charges don't rise for OEM parts though so the wheels will be fine

honestly i could feel tears when she put the phone down, i have just saved so much to get it into the bodyshop and also saved to get the tyres and bits. oh i was annoyed, im trying to find ways and means tho,i dont think its right for them to tell me what i can and cant do, i was happy for them to bump up the premium a tad but not tell me what i can and cant do

But you are only a named driver on the policy.

If your mum is main driver and over 25 does that not mean that you can do it?
