I posted up about this a while ago when we were looking, but the fitters came today and started the installation. We got the kitchen from MFI in their sale, plus free fitting, so no point in doing it myself if the professionals will do it for free! I am going to tile the floor though however, when they are finished. This is the style of kitchen...
I cant find the plans they did on the computer of how ours will look, but the old kitchen was ripped out today and they started assembling the cupboards
They wanted £130 per set of those blue LEDs in the metal plinths at the bottom So im gonna order a kit off ebay for £25, drill the holes and wire it up myself, thats silly money for what it is! Will update again when its looking a bit better
(Bathroom is being done next week too!)

In the top pic, the metal plinth under the cupboards. You can just see one illuminated on the right hand side, the ones directly in frame are switched off. Im just gonna get some circular blue ones off ebay for a hell of a lot less money. Hardly a nececcity, but it was one of the things that made me want to get that style kitchen in the first place

Small update...
Cables now in place for a powerpoint on the right hand side of the kitchen where there wasnt before, will be very useful.
and a few of the cupboards in place, and one of the worktops. The worktop for the sink side has been cut ready to fit the sink, so hopefully the kitchen should be usable again tomorrow, im getting annoyed with eating canned food already and all the beans are making me fart loads!

Today's update (Partly just so I can send my mum the link so she can see the photos of the progress too ) Sink is now in and hooked up, hob is in but not wired up, and a few more cupboards. Waste disposal is also all plumbed in, although we compost most of our organic waste now
Hopefully the main bits will be in tomorrow so I can eat somethign that doesnt come out of a can!

We've got them in our kitchen, they dont really serve a perpose, but they do look quite when you put them on.

Getting there now! Hob and oven wired up, few more cupboards done. Just got the rest of the fronts to put on, and the washer/dryer to hook up now then the main part is done. Time to choose some tiles for the wall then, and ive got the tiles for the floor to do aswell.

Scales weren't delivered with the kitchen, they told me they wont be here for a couple of weeks. You just reminded me though that I needed to talk to the fitter to find out whats going on with hole in the worktop for them!!!!

Not sure yet, tiles on the floor are gonna be the same as the ones I laid in the dining room...
Not decided on the wall ones yet though.
Bathroom is going greyish blue on the walls and cream on the floor

That looks great, nice to see someone brave enough to go for a dark colour, makes a change from the usual beech shaker style, and white (which i have)etc
Think you should have white tiles, the ones that are roughly the size of a brick with a slightly bevelled edge would look the nuts....
