MR2 turbo is the only way to go. My dad picked up a K plate one a few years ago with 55k on the clock for the same price. A good polish and it would have been pretty mint.

I had one before, they got more poke than a 1.6 corsa

Nothing is quicker than a 106 GTi. Not even a Bugatti Veyron

Seriously tho, I drove Dads and an NA round the track, the turbo is just soo much more fun. Get a T-Bar Tubby

the n/a ones are crap had a guy driving like a tit in front of me in one the other day, so i decided to have a quick play up the dual track, he booted it so did i and i wouldve gone into his bumper if i didnt back off. Anyway i left it at that whilst he ragged it off

turbos arent too bad, sooty had one, was quite quick, not blow your pants off though

Whats the tubby's stats? 0-60? 1/4 miles? I doubt they're blisteringly fast std but they are easily tuned.

My brothers mate had a NA 2.0 when i had my 106 XSI, the xsi wasn't much slower under 100mph tbh.

0-60mph 5.56secs
0-100mph 13.91secs

1/4 mile time 13.92 (94 onwards turbo model) and 14.38 (89-94 turbo model)
