Right. Im going to explain this really basicically and just give you the step by step guide. Sorry if you think by telling this its ruining the Forza community, because GTF - it's just a game. BTW this 100% honestly works, and it's not a time waster... and if you don't believe me, go to www.gamefaqs.com and check the boards. They deleted it from the official site.. but anyway here it goes.
Earn 4,500 every 3 seconds glitch
1. Buy 5 Porsches. Doesn't matter what Porsche, as long as its a Porsche. Best bet would be to buy the 914/6 because it makes the next step SOO much easier.
2. Get each of them to Car Level 4. Easiest way to do this, is to race the 914 factory spec races, and do the maple valley 8 lap race. You need to do this 3 times to get it to level 4. Turn all assists off, and you net about 17k-20k each race or there abouts - (914/6 gets to level 4 after you earn 50k with it)
3. Buy/Win a Chrysler ME412. You can get one from one of the amatuer races, but you gotta be level 30.
4. Go to upgrade options for the ME412, and buy the RACING TYRE Pirelli's for 17k. It should say on the Pirelli icon "50% Discount". As soon as you've bought them, sell them.... for 21k. Easy as that. Keep buying and selling the tires and you could earn yourself 3+ million in an hour. Best to use the X(sell tires)+A(confirm sale)+A(buy tires) pattern (so you can do other things while you 'earn') Boring and tedious, but its a money making glitch none the less.
How it works: A fucked up game flaw I presume. Whenever you get to level 4 in a Porsche, it tells you that you now have a 10% discount on Pirelli's for all makes of cars. Have 2 Porsches at level 4, and it gives you 20% (and so on) up to 50%. I've tried with 6 cars, and it stops at 50%, so trust me. The reason we use the Chrysler ME412 is because it statistically has the highest gains for buying and selling. It works for other cars too, but this is the only way I know.

Oh and I forgot to mention, if you follow all of the steps and for some reason when you go to sell the Pirelli's, and it offers you 0Cr - it's because you already have a different set of tires on the car. The Pirelli's must be the ONLY tires on the car and as soon as you sell the other set you should have the 24k selling price for the Pirellis.

yeah knew about this a while, does work and isnt really a glitch as such.
it also takes a lot of patience and time to bujild up any serious amount of money, ie its quite slow

I'd say its a glitch, or at least something they didn't really program too well. Yes it takes a while, but I sat there doing the A, A, X pattern a while back while I was watching Eastenders, and I got about 1,500,000 or there abouts after the episode had finished. Beware though, if your 360 is prone to crashing, make sure you move to the main menu once in a while so it can save.

Any risk of getting banned by doing this?
If there isnt then I am going to have a stab at it as I am always running out of cash just from buying cars I dont need and tunning them. Like drift cars

just tried it with only having 10% discount and when they are sold they are gone. It dosnt give you the option to sell them again...
Or am I doing something wrong?

You have to buy them again to sell them. The point is having 5 of them so you get a 50% discount. You buy the tires for 17k, and sell them for 21k, and then buy them again, sell again, buy, sell, b, s, bs etc
Don't bother with 10%, you wont get anything back

Doesnt matter how you get it to level 4, so long as there are 5 level 4 Porsches in your garage - it'll work

There was a similar glitch on Forza 1 but with an engine you could sell for alot more than you buy.

yeah it works. I tried it earlier and I now have 1mil credits. Makes it easier to buy cars and tune them for drifts etc

Theres another glitch thats quicker but like the other one its been patched so you have to delete your save and unpatch the game. If ya didn't get the full 1000/1000 then its worth doing. I'm loving it, got 25,356,485CR at the mo
Getting 43,000CR every few seconds
You can do it straight away too, no having to buy Porsche's or nowt.
