When I fill up with petrol I can't pull the handle all the way up - i.e. like the car is already full? The only way to get some in is to let it trickle in
Any help is appreciated!

It depends largely on the garage and pump you use. I just wiggle it around a bit!

All the way in, half in, mostly out. No luck

This happened with me all the time, it's stopped recently though and haven't had any grief off it for a while now... I just had to let it trickle in again. Some guy put £60 in a Range Rover Vouge before I put £10 in mine...!

the pipe running into the fuel tank has a bend in it almost a u bend i removed this and made a stainless steel one problem solved. think you can use the tube off the nova or astra pain in the arse to fit. every corsa is the same. i think.

i just removed the fuel tank you get alot more room to get your hand up there its held on by 4 stupidly designed clips i think. you will hurt your self in the process

Blocked breather pipes can cause it.
As the air inside the tank has no where to escape as your forcing petrol in, so it stops it flowing.

breather pipes cause it
also, the green stopper has a habit of falling into the filler pipe and blocking at the bottom causing a restriction

Can't see the green stopper anymore! This must be what caused it! How easy is this to repair?
