Hello,
My brother purchased this recently,

Has been fully restored bodywise but not finished due to time,
The previous owner has had it in the family for last 8 years and had it handed down from his brother,
He has been restoring it for the last 4 years,

Anyway it was up for sale and a deal was done, so seeing as it was such a nice day we cracked on with it,

Although it has had a full respray already theres a few marks in the engine bay and a slight bit of peeling on the front panel,

Engine isnt as clean as id like it either as the last owner ran out of time so was just trying to put it all together as quickly as possible,

So thought it rude not to pull it all out and start again!

as we started just taken irmscher airbox off,

cleared all the junk out of the back

jacked it up

engine again

coming out

out

disassembly

bare bay

back on wheels riding high!!!

stripping more

and the mess of the interior, wires city!!!

going to get the bay and the front panel and valence painted again and a few of the grommet holes welded up as im going to hide the wiring loom,

Love the cra is great to own such a rare model cant wait to get started on cleaning the negine up ready to go back in,

Have plenty of time tomorow so will be more progress then!

thats all for now!

UPDATE

well after a night on the lash i was slow starting today but started work around 12pm,
weather was lovely so cracked on,

Removed a few more items from the engine bay ready for painting and marked all the areas i want seeing to when it goes for paint,
im going to totally smoth the firewall of all of the little divits and get the holes welded up so i can go for the minimalist look

after that turned my attention to the mountain fo junk in the car,
Offloaded all of this around the house in various places, hiding away from parents!Lol

next fitted the frame sto the seats the were totally stripped so thanks to daryl for getting them back in shape for me!

next cleaned up the carpets, fitted the seatbelts, rear qauter trims properly and the seats went in also

also got the engine on the stand reasy for the treatment tomorow

enjoy...

oh and the mrs thought she would try it for size!
