Yes he may be a decent player but we have 3 right backs in Hoyte, Sagna and Eboue and 5 central midfielders (at least!) in Flamini, Denilson, Diaby not to mention Gilberto Silva and Fabregas!!

OK, just trawled the 606 boards... seems most people expect Alex Song (USELESS) to leave in January and possibly Flamini too (shame if so but couldnt blame him), some suggest that Gilberto may be made a permanent CB with Diarra/Diaby taking over... all very strange!!

Hes looked really good in all the games I have seen him play in. His problem is I don't think he is better than fagregas/flamini.

I can understand why he wants to move on to a team where he thinks he will get a 1st team place.

That said if we have made over 3m out of a 6 month transfer you can't really argue

He manages to turn what comes out of his mouth into bullshit so no doubt he could give it a go!

Commitment seems to be a lost word for Portsmouth's new signing Lassana Diarra. On arrival from Arsenal he said: "The people at Portsmouth know I will not spend my life at this club. If I shine, if a really big club wants me, I know that everything will go well." (Various)
