just because you passed the police doenst mean that its not illigal. That where i would put it though.
Or just take it off, its only 60 quid if you get caught, as apposed to 3 points aswell if it wrong size/spacing

What about a smaller sized plate where it normally goes

window technically is not fine, unless its on the outside of the window.
if its behind the reflection from the window will be interfering with the visibility of the plate and the lettering, just like that numberplate spray is
apart from that it looks plain crap anyway

its quite arguable, ive heard of people get pulled for it, but technically the front window is the front of the vehicle

its not the position thats in question, its the impairment the window glass has on the plate

well he said to me that it was best at the top of the screen inside so the wipers etc dont block it and its higher up so can be seen better.
But to be honest i think it depends where you live a few of my mates dont even have plates on the front of their cars and havent done for over a year lol

thats probably true, mine was half covered by wipers
got a good excuse - lazyness - plate fell off and kept meaning to get new sticky pads..
also, drove around my area and surrounding for around 3 month's like that, then went to a town for the first time with plate how it was, then got the 7-day fix it notice
