Fairly even actually iirc.
I think we've beaten them more times at Hampden but they've beat us more times in England by about 5 or 6 games, not much anyway.

Stats from a site -
Played 89, England won 37, Scotland won 31, Drawn 21
On paper they'd blow us off the park although games aren't played on paper though, especially at Hampden.
There's still maybe only 2 or 3 players in the Scotland first 11 that would make England's squad tbh.

McFadden can't get a game for Everton
Gordon is good enough for a start, Boyd isn't even a regular starter for Rangers and Ferguson didn't exactly take the Premiership by storm. Darren Fletcher although consistently slated is good enough imo.

fletcher over ferguson?
ferguson shattered his knee and said publicly he had no passion when playing for blackburn!

I honestly think Gordon is the only scottish international that would make it into the current England squad

1 gets games for the champions of England the other come home with his tail between his legs so yes Fletcher over Ferguson.
I can't disagree with anyone that say's Gordon would be the only 1 to get a game either as well!

i think ferguson would be more suited to play next to gerrard then lampard but would need to see i to determin that

FFS Lampard is a world class midfielder that is in the running for European and World Player of the Year year after year, there's no comparison.
There's not even a comparison to be made with Carrick or Hargreaves they're leagues ahead

i was saying if he was put in the squad they have now
which doesnt include carrick who is a great player
what i was saying about lampard is he cannot play along side gerrard

Before Carrick, Hargreaves and Barry? I'd even have the likes of Barton, Nolan and Parker before Ferguson

Not as often as I'd like; regardless of that from what I have seen of Ferguson he is certainly no better than any of the players I have mentioned

He plays in a poor league for a decent team and a mediocre national team, to be fair any of the 6 midfielders I have mentioned would walk into either side.

IMO Gordon would walk nto our team, not sure about Fletcher/Ferguson but certainly worthy of selection!
