TBH was a shocking shocking display.
Gerrard and Kuyt may aswell of been sat on the sidelines, as would of done more. Only Masch and Pennant really turned up today.
People will no doubt blame Rafa's rotation, but only Torres didnt start out of what would of been the first team, and the team that started was easily good enough to win the game. So that had nothing to do with it.
Anyway, Mancs and Chelski fans can laugh, but we are equal on games with them both but still ahead on points. Only Arsenal are up their above who will be contenders, but TBH they will drop points over the course of this season.

like I said, had nothing to do with who we played (i.e. squad members) had to do with key members playing shite....basically Gerrard and Kuyt.

But you have strength in depth that can come in and replace these under achieving players.

Not going to drop Gerrard no matter how he is playing. As for Kuyt, yeah can bring in Torres from starting todays team, or shitty Crouch.

Benitez baffles me sometimes.
"Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez left Fernando Torres out of his starting line-up and paid the price again as Birmingham earned a point at Anfield."
Why would he do this You spend all that money on a player...and then don’t play him.
Yes the Champions League is important to a club like Liverpool because it’s clear that they aren’t going to win the Premiership. But there's only so much "rest" a player like him needs.

Yawn AJ, yawn. Come back when you have a clue about football and saw the actual game.
Torres playing would of made fuck all difference when the ball never got played into any decent positions fo the forwards.
It was left to that £10m cheap player called Kuyt to score against lowly Birmingham....that extra £10m is obviously needed against them.

"Torres looked a cut above the rest of Liverpool's strikers when he emerged on the hour, but Birmingham's defence had established the platform for a point. "
