I think Allardyce has been on the drugs with his comment about him being his biggest asset as well, Martins is younger and isn't made of glass.

Poor bastard.
I watched the documentary on Sky the other day, where they followed him around for a year. He seems like a good lad.

Top UK hernia Surgeon on SSN saying that he can't understand why he is going to Germany for the op when the best Hernia Docs in the world are in this country and could have him back playing in a fortnight. Instead he is going to Germany to meet an american surgeon and will be out for around 5 weeks!

I doubt the UK surgeon would say another country is better than him and his mates, or he could be out of business soon enough

Where's England in the FIFA Hernia Surgeon rankings, surely not behind that German mob?

Oh well looks like we'll get fuck all for him now and be stuck paying extortionate wages for a bit part player until he comes to the end of his contract at which point he’ll probably retire through injury

TBH in that Sky programme he seemed far more into his horses than his footy, and happier when he was at the Cheshire place.
BTW, his missus is fit.

Actually my hatred towards him was on decline after I met him recently at a charity function, actually seemed a really nice lad. However he contributes fuck all to Newcastle and could well go down in history as being one of our most expensive flops

All of which have had more minutes on the pitch than Owen however bad they may have been

Yeah it is to be fair, but that means jack shit if he's missing big chunks of the season.
