I have been a united fan all my life, and have never watched such a shower of shite in all my life

Ill start with the positives from the game, well positive

Anderson, he was the best player on the pitch but when you are in midfield and everything around you is shit, there is only so much you can do

There will be players that played today that will never play for united again imo

And i wish one of them was Dong, he is the worst player to wear a united shirt i have ever seen, and he makes bellion look like a superstar

Nani was awful imo, had a few shots, long range, all we was left with due to attack being so shite

Ferguson and united should be ashamed, to make season ticket holders have no choice but pay to watch that is a disgrace,

I would love it if dong never played again, but being chinese (or wherever he is from) he will, as we make alot of money from him because people in china know he plays for us

United have no-one to blame but themselves, coventry can only play what is put against them and they did it, i feel it was disrespectful of ferguson to field such a weak team, with a worse bench, as it is not as if they are a league 2 side, they are mid championship

I feel sorry for the guy i sold tickets too, as it was honestly shite

I am sure marc will agree tbh

Rant over,

One more positive, i didnt fancy our chances when i saw the team, so put 2 quid on the draw, and 2 on coventry, so returned 17

I do see your point about the paying fans though, i've paid to sit and watch Celtic get beat off Caley Thistle and other lower league teams, it is disheartening and frustrating as fuck!

TBH I have seen this happen to us a few times.

Rafa, in his first season, put a really shite side out against Burnley and we got knocked out. The papers slated him the next day and he hasnt lived it down since in the media. I doubt anything so bad will be written about you lot though

yeah mate i think he will,

simpson, dong, martin (although thats the first bad game ive seen him play), evans (was unlucky to come off, was far from the worst) bardsley (subbed at half time, should have been simpson imo) eagles (wank) nani(i have been singing his praises all season, but tonight he was schwank) campbell,

it was clear to see the pro's, (oshea, brown, carrick, anderson, and even nani, and pique) standing out

i saw more entertainment outside the ground

stupid coventry fans singing 'who the fuck are man utd', he was soon silenced and given a few slaps!!! also saw about 50 man utd dressed in total black going after any coventry near white city retail park (about a minute from the ground)

DONG DONT GET ME STARTED ON HIM

biggest waste of space ive seen!!!!!

pique and evans were pathetic, danny simpson and anderson impressed imo but apart from that we were rubbish

every time the ball that went forward we didnt have anyone to hold it up or link up play, nani was puttin crosses in all night and there was just nothing there

I have to agree. Quite possibly the worst 90 minutes I have had to sit through.

Also agreed about Anderson, he looked quality. Everytime he had the ball he had 2-3 Coventry players on him and he managed to get through them, just a shame nothing ever came of it.

Nani made quite a few blunders, as did Chris Eagles, Pique. Evans didn't do a lot. Its a amazing to think he'll be a differant player when along side Ronaldo at the weekend.

Agreed about Dong also, he surely is the worst player to ever wear a United shirt. I said that during the game and people were saying it on the train home. I can't see any good qaulities from him and its a shame hes in the squad just because he is Chinese. At times I forgot he was on the pitch, that soon changed when he was passed simple balls in the area and blundered.

Its also clear Kuszack isn't good enough. The first goal was a simple tap in and he couldn't save it. Doesn't bode well when you consider he is effectively Van Der Sars replacement. I just hope when Foster returns in March that he takes his place.

I'm also not looking forward to the third round of the FA Cup if this is the team he has in mind.

The funny thing is, these players won't play again now for a further year when they get another chance in this competition.

I didn't even think Fergie was there last night! Images on SSN show otherwise! He never appeared to leave his seat though!

So much for saying Rooney, Saha and Hargreaves would be included, the best we got were O'Shea, Brown and Carrick!

His pre match notes said that he had every faith in these players and that he would play them for however long they were in the competition....
