Fitted my Recirculating Dump valve (for performance benefits)
a sprayed engine cover to make the bay look tidy

and I also fitted an open cone until I get something decent..

Never in all my 2 years of car driving have I felt an induction kit make a car feel quite a bit more responsive until now, the dv works better too...

and one of the seats

Ordered a FMIC too

nice job dude...was ur airbox like mine in the passat..had stupid amounts if wires etc? i have an open cone filter but dont want to use it
1. fears my MAF may cock up
2. I havent a clue where to stick all the shite the airbox holds!

What DV u go for the forge dv007p? I went for a turbosmart dual port...so has a slight atmos too, but has the full recirc, so no error codes etc

Also, wait til you fit a decent induction kit, then you'll notice a marked improvement.

I have the new Forge split R valve on mine, its pretty loud but retains the recirc action

I think i'm gonna go for the standard air box mod tho, much cheaper and better (in most cases) than an open filter
