Not sure if people are familiar with the "IT.Boxes" in pubs and clubs, but its the shitty machine you play games on like who wants to be a millionare, deal or no deal, spot the difference etc for 50p....
Well i basically I sit at a desk and fix the machines, and fix "The Cloud's (internet service probider) wifi" for a living...
A problem that came up not so long back was the following
Some guy down south kept going into all the local pubs, playing spot the difference and winning the jackpot of each pub, and this guy would do about 9-10 pubs a day. Spot the difference game's jackpot was £150 , and for the jackpot you've got to spot the differences super quick, and theres about 30 levels. This guy was doing this from one pub to another, slowly on the map it started to spread out, so naturally we thought that somebody has found a cheat, and has told a mate, whos told a mate etc, but no. This guy had been going round the country emptying these Itboxes, so much so the police were called by some pubs and asking if it was fraud. The police looked into it and finally tracked the man down. He didn't work for us, so he couldnt rig the machines, and he wasn't cheating...
He was crosseyed , and his type of crosseye meant the differences leapt out at him, and he was just doing these levels VERY quickly. He's made £10K from it. Unfortuantely you can't win on that game anymore, but fairplay to him, he milked it

TBH I dont think this is true.
Ive been on that game and for starters I dont think the jackpot is so high, and the number of levels is less than 30 (you'd know this if you worked for them).
I also dont think being crosseyed would help you in any way to spot differences.

Believe me, its deadly true Maybe there isn't 30 levels, but theres definately 25.
And if the "hopper" is full (£150) then he can carry on emptying the machine.

If this is the case, he wins the jackpot > travles to a pub with the winnings > wins again > travels further out his way > and so on....
therefore not making any profit other than a few quid
