Bought a new car today, a VW Golf GT tdi as I had been looking for.

Its a 2002 130 Highline model.

I hav'nt taken pic's yet but heres the ones off AT -







New wheels should be here in a couple of days, & I might sort the suspension & get a remap in time.

Im pretty bloody impressed with it already, 50mpg on the way home & it has some neat extras like heated seats, cruise control, climate control & a few other wee things that ammused me but would make me sound like a geek if I mentioned!!

Doesnt have satnav built in, it has a double din CD player with hand controls on the steering wheel. Its no bad for a stock CD player actually. Think im giving my Alpine to Jade & sticking with what ive got.

Yeah its got above average miles, but then I dont think many folk buy a diesel to do average miles.

Its done 87k & has full history from VW, just been serviced. Im going to do 35k+ miles myself in it in the next 18 months then sell it on possibly at a big loss. I dont care though i'll be moving onto somthing nice after this.

would you be intresed in a plug n play tuning box? iv got 2 options 1) my mate has 1 on his golf that he wants to sell or 2) my work have just started selling DTUK tuning boxesboth offer at least 20bhp prob more with the DTUK 1s
