Anyone here know what cv-joints I need to use with the kit, is it just redtop ones or can i use ones of a v6 cavy or a 2.0 vectra?

all the same the big block CV's mate!

cally turbo, v6, 2.0
astra mk3 gsi
cavvy 2.0 8v 16v etc

Does that include vectra's with the ABS ring? wont be using ABS obviously but it just wont engage the ring so it should be fine shouldnt it?

I can do a full kit inc cv joints for less than an M-tech kit. uses the same hubs and shafts as well

I paid LMF prices , around £560 I think it was. Not overally pleased with my self as thats money I could have spent else where on the car .

I used the mtech kit. Wanted to use the 100% tried and tested route and make sure it was all perfect

ask JonnyJ about my kits, he used one to fit his XE. we also use non machined hubs in favour of hubs that are designed for the conversion (made by Bilstein) and solid 1 piece driveshafts.

Dave - How much is your kit and what other parts would be required if all I could get from the donor car was the engine, gearbox, loom and ecu?

just a powercap or ecotec pipe. everything else is included.

can't ya just buy a new engine RH mount and get late cav inner cv's and use 22spline corsa shafts, now that would be cheap, but don't know how long shafts would last until snappage occurs, again correct me if i'm wrong don't want no arguments again

How much for your kit Dave and the price seriously includes everything except the engine and all that goes with that
