I'd say a huge portion of my life is controlled by cars.

I'm on CS...Scoobynet...SIDC etc etc every day.

My partner is sick to death of me talking about cars all the time.

I'm ALWAYS talking about what car i'm going to have next.

I buy the AutoTrader even if i'm not looking to buy a car.I'm subscribed to EVO mag and buy Jap performance/Banzai and Car mechanics mag also a lot of others.

I've owned 14 cars and HAVE to drive a freinds/relatives new car.

If i see a nice car go past when i'm driving i'll name it and start saying the permormance figures and engine size etc out loud.

I just wish i had knuckled down when i was younger and been a decent mechanic.

So yeah pretty much obsessed

Just somthing to add....

There is a Peugeot garage near and in 1998 they had a brand new black 106 GTI.

It was up for £9995.It was set up on these ramps and it was the coolest fuking thing i had ever seen as i was driving a scooter at the time

I'd sit on the wall next to it and just look at it hoping one day i would own one.

And i did

My neighbor bought a brand new N Reg Corsa Sport in 1995. It was in white and had the wheel trims.

Really nice car, I loved it.

I was terrible for this when I was in school. A few times we'd be walking home and my mates challenged me to close my eyes then when they said I'd open them and close them really quick, then say what the car was. I never got it wrong, best one was a Cavalier, it must have been between 75 and 100 yards away, opened my eyes for a split second then said Cav, opened my eyes again and it was just going past me, me mates where like

I really was obsessed

Being an apprentice mechanic for 2 1/2 years killed most of that
