In here as its about cars, talking to out appretices today, and got on to the subject of car films, and despite them both beeing well into cars, they have never seen

Gone in 60 seconds (orginal, not gay new one)
Vanishing Point
The Getaway
Cannonball Run
Gumball Rally
etc etc
just wondering (there only a few years younger than me) if alot of you have actully seen these all being car enthusisats, or is it just me that watched them when i was 12

Seen some of them.
The Italian Job?
I think it might be Bullit, not sure, but the one in France, with De Nero, got immense car chase scenes in it with completely normal cars. Although there is an E34 M5 and RS6/8?!

Playing whilst watching a couple of jumpsuited ladies driving a white Countach, they change a 55mph sign to 155mph and get chased by cops, before pulling onto a building site and washing the white paint off to reveal the true red, and change their outfits to match.
Never forgotten that scene

Matt Monro, a Lamborghini and some alps wasn't a bad start either really.
Bullit isn't really car related, only 9 and a bit minutes of it, don't think I've ever watched the whole film
