Looks nice there but I've seen a photo of the side profile and the roof just looks wrong, considering it's a coupe, looks like a saloon roofline and doesn't fit with the rest of the car

The press still aren't sure of what it'll be under the bonnet, because of only the dual exhaust, not quad.

There isn't a 135cd yet planned. I think it might be derv.

I'l take one of those, I want a white 3 series coupe but too expensive,

1 series coupe only come in denzels apart from the 135i so I guess it will be a derv.

123cd has as much torgue as the 135ci and is also the most powerful 4-cylinder diesel ever produced

when i first saw the 1 series saloon i thought it was a load of crap...its just a pointless car. if u want a bmw hatchback, get a 1 series, if u want a smaller cheaper saloon get a 3 series. whats the purpose of this car?

It isn't a saloon, it's a Coupe.

It is a known fact the E46 3 series coupe had better driving characteristics than the saloon E46.

The 1 series hatch has been accused of being a bit dull. The Coupe then should be a more dynamic drive.

I saw a road test on AutoMundial on Men&Motors, much like Top Gear used to be. They said it is a much better drive than the hatch.

E36
E46
E92

In that order are best to drive for "fun"

E46 coupe was no match for the E36, my old man now has an E90 and drives just as nice as the E46 but still not a patch on how fun the E36 was to chuck in and around the corners.

I was looking at 1 series coupes, but they don't do them in white or I would have been very tempted to take out a nice loan to get one!

This looks kinda special, not keen on the white dial rev counter but not on the speedo. (bit strange)

Aye, I know. I was just illustrating that there is a reason for the Coupe version, just like the reason they have a 3 series Coupe.

The 1 series is wank to drive compared with the 3 series saloon, and the coupes are always better, unless you spend the money on the M Power suspension set up.

I think its going to be a 135ti (3.0 twin turbo as usual 135i) but with more power can't go too mad or it will contend against the M3.
