Because they're guaranteed doesnt mean they're indestructible, it means you get a new one when they do break

snap off stuff has a life time guarantee, yeah the lifetime off the tool that is the bloke who comes into my work has had my air ratchet for about 2 months now, apparently its so new and up to date they cant get parts to fix it yet i use mac tools a lot now, much better than snp off imo

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_173083_langId_-1_CarSelectorCatalogId__CarSelectorGroupId__varient__categoryId_76863_crumb_33958-76859_parentcategoryrn_76863
cant get much better for that kind of money, i use that set for at home and i have halfords pro 1/2" sockets for work which take some abuse (heavy plant work) the halfords ratchet i had at work gave up on me pretty quick but it was one of the cheaper ones, replaced with a facom ratchet

cost me £1100 second hand in mint condition. about £2500 new iirc. i just love the snap on quality and the fact i can get a tool from the snap on dude and pay him monthly for it. when you go on the snap on van its like being a kid in a toy shop, i just want every thing.
