What's will it be worth?
Car's engine has died, converting to a xe.
Will have v6 brakes, 2.0 engine with 74000 miles, FK coilovers, F20 gearbox, Full 2.25" Stainless 3 box system.
The car's bodywork itself is fine with no rust.
I'm just trying to see if it'll be worth converting it.
Still torn between x16xe and c20xe. If i go for the x16xe i'll be saving £400... which is why i'm wondering the value once the work has been carried out, thanks.
Few pics of it..

Been looked after well...

You not thinking of selling are you?
I'd say it would be worth in the region £1700 - £2000

I'd say selling to a random member of the public to get it shifted quickly, you're better of with the X16XE.
Want to sell it on here, you'd get a bit more with the C20XE possibly.

To be honest, if you're thinking of an upgrade in February, just do it now instead.

Stop being a Fanny. If your sticking a LET in next year then why you asking how much it's worth? Just put a c20xe in it and enjoy some extra power

The engine i'm getting in feb is £450, and i've seen it running, but the owner of the car still drives it and will still be driving it till feb, as its taxed mot'd and insured. He's getting a new alfa in feb, so untill then i can't have the engine.

Well, XE it with an F28 for now and you'll need no new mounts when you get the LET, and you'll have a spare gearbox.

Ok, why not leave it without and engine til February, sort out bits like mounts and shafts between now and then and use the 106 until the Corsa is done, instead of doing 2 engine conversions in 4 months?
