Its not a nice sight, i am gutted
I was going home the other night and i went round a round about and the car just slid!! I couldnt do anything about it. I ended up clipping the roundabout. My car didnt come off to well, having the whole car smooth is not a great idea when they dont make the paint anymore!!
My bodyshop want £750 to fix it and i havent got the money! So i am picking the car up off them tonight and it is going to get put in the garage until i can either claim off the insurance to fix it or decide what to do with it.

Yes fix the front bumper, it has cracked the side skirt, arch and where it is smoothed into the wing.
They have to respray the front of the car because of the metalflake

Ouch! your lucky it didnt crack when the bumper is smoothed into the wing. £750 seems a bit steep. Best bet would be to get a new combat 2 bumper and have the bottom part cut out and smoothed in.

You are right on any other car, just fix and repaint the front bumper, but its all the other damage it has done.
I do think £750 is too much thats y i have told them not to bother and i am picking the car up 2nite. I havent spent about 5k there and i would have thought they would want it looking good again as i have got them soooo much work!

I will have to see what the insurance says. I am not spending £750!! Thats what my morguage is a month...
If they cant get the paint then they will have to repaint the whole car!! But i still want metalflake again as i like it

This is my daily drive...
I drive it everywhere, we might bodge the bumper for a while so i can still drive it. I really want it fixing though as i have always thought my car was done perfectly

I was expecting something worse, at least it's just the bumper/skirt, not the whole rear end of the car, plus the roof, bonnet and glass

This is where we will diagre JR, i dont see the point of driving a poo car when i have that at home. Then again if i had smashed the poo car i wouldnt have cared...
If i had wrote it off its got an agreed valuation of 15k!!! LOL.

Look on the bright side though, could be completely undriveable/ruined or you could be lying in intensive care.
Cars can be replaced and repaired
