Mate took me out in his xe last night for the first time, i think theres only really one expression i can use -

I think its made up my mind for me that an xe conversion next year is deffinatly on the list of things to do

They just pull and pull, but spose after driving a 1.0 and then a 1.4 for a while they will seem a bit rapid

in all seriousness it is a bit pants vauxhall didnt make a faster B.

dont you find it a bit annoying you have to change an engine to get to the same performance as a standard car in the same class from another manufacturer?

What the fuck has 106 Gti got to do with an XE Corsa Dave?

Thats like saying, Get in a BMW M3 and you will be going

I think Corsa XE's are and I've been in a few pretty quick cars.

true....
i used to think my nova was stupid quick, jumped from a 1.4 to 2.0, felt slow about around 6 month's on drving it..

corsa will feel stupid quick when built, as i've been driving a 1.2 for over a year now

but will soon feel slow again, and i'll want more power

i love my xe first time i drove it loved the torque, thats the bit people dont seem to get, they all say tune 1.4/1.6 but they just dont feel the same a 1.6 with same torque as xe will not feel the same.

why do other cars always have to be brought into it, everyone says oh xe wont keep with a 106 gti on twisties, i have owned my xe for bout 4 years and never once come upon a 106 gti on some twisties so who gives a fuck, people that compare seem to me only be interested in being better that everyone else, fact of the matter if a car is FUN which what its all about then who cares if it dont handle aswell!!!!!!!! i love the understeer mine gives and the un-predictability of it this is why it is so much fun, im not entering le-mans with it ffs
