Hi Guys,

My friends renault 5 got stolen on saturday night from a tuning Garage in Kirby. The car has been spotted around the Kirby area but the people who stole the car are now contacting my friend asking for money if he wants to see his car back.

The renault 5 has a one-off paint job (in purple crackle effect and mirror flake and bright orange wheels) and is like no other ranault 5, so isnt hard to miss. Im wondering if you would all be able to keep an eye for the car as the car is of extreme sentimental value to my mate as he has done most of the work on the car from the paintwork to the 1.7 Turbo engine conversion. If any of you see the car could you please post on here straight away.

I have put some pics below of the car as it looked. Thanks for any help you can give.

no mate, got stolen saturday night and has been seen a couple of times round the area. It was involved in 3 police chases but got away everytime, I think due to it being extremely quick.

nope no helicopter because it out run the police more or less straight away, its running about 260bhp.

Kirby is one of the roughest parts of Liverpool.

It will probablly be on fire when they've finished pissing about in it.

If you went down and tried sort something out then they'd probablly just take whatever money kick the shit out of you, and take whatever else they can

Kirby is full of estates, windy roads etc and AX can fit in many more alleyways than t5's IMO

Im pretty sure they wouldnt kick the crap out of him. Im sure he could cope with some lads with friends he knows.

The cars chasing it will be the astra diesal's and whatever the local plod has. The T5's were probably sat on the motorway pulling people over who were doin 72mph.

The police have been extremely dodgy in all of this mate. If you car had been involved in 3 police chases you would expect the police to come knocking on your door wouldnt you, but he was only contacted on the sunday afternoon asking if he knew where his car was.

He has not faith in the police because they havent done anything to help him try and get it back.

He has told me he is not willing to hand over any cash because why should he pay theives any money for getting his own car back.
