What is required to fit Porsche wheels?

I know I need the hub adaptors to change the PCD, like these:

adaptors

If I wanted to fit a set of D90's, what would be required, apart from the adaptors? and what sizes do the D90;s come in? Having just done a quick search on here, I have seen Sportyboy is running 8x16's on the front and 9x16's on the rear, but have just seen a set on eBay that include 6x16's.

What other Porsche wheels are available to fit a Corsa? I love the 996 Turbo style, but they only came in 17's by the look of it

All information will be very welcome

Porsche D90s would look awesome on your car, imo.

You can fot all sorts of porsche wheels, have a look on edition38 as there are lots for sale on there.

As for sizes they only come in 16" width range from 6-9" i believe

Only cause you want the Cesaro's!

I'm just looking at the moment Alex, not sure on D90's though, never really liked them

Although my mates who came to Trax saw Sportboys and immediately told me to do it!

Hamish, do you know if all the widths came in the same offset of 53, or were they different?

Ok cheers, obviously 6x16s will fit with no problems, especially with 195/40/16 tyres, but what is thought about 7's and upwards?

I am lowered 40mm on Koni's at the moment

well remember you have to add near enuff 1" for adaptors.

Depends how much you want lower. Sportyboy has proven that you can get 9's on

Yea I took that into account, meaning the wheels would have an offset of 30 (if using the 23mm adaptors), which I think would be ok with that size on

From the search I did, Sportyboy had to trim the plastics back and tap out the archwork to fit the 9's, which doesn't actually sound too bad considering the size of them does it?

one more thing.

Personaly i would go for some trak+ adaptors made by H&R. They are made of alloy but the threads have steels inserts. It may just be piece of mind but i would like to know that my wheels are going to stay on

I dont know if some of the cheaper adaptors are steel insterted or not.

Have a look in rimstyles website

Ahh ok 8 on the rear, may look at 7's then so I hopefully don't need to sort anything out.

Where did you get your adaptors from? As I remember reading something from Hamish when he was looking at it that the cheaper ones could only be used a certain number of times until the threads were damaged?

So FK ones from where? Venom motorsport? and are you just using the VW ones, not worrying about the centre bore?

Cheers mate, may be able to get a set knocked up in the workshop in Uni as well, with Vauxhall centre bore and a smaller spacer built in - If they could be made out of 15mm thick instead, then the offset would only be 48mm, almost perfect.

Hmmm.....

Thanks for all the help guys!
