I know i dont drive a corsa but i think the same may apply for most...
I went on about a 100 mile spirited drive last night, 30 miles in dropped rear tyre pressure from 33 psi to 30 psi and the car felt planted after doing that, i was told 30 psi is to low but it feels amazing like its on rails...
Any ideas if its a problem ?

i have a higher pressure on the back than the front
seems to grip better at the front this way
when i lowered the presure at the back it felt wierd so put it back

Should be between 28 and 30psi anyway.

Oh right cool, there saying 34 - 35psi is what i should have but it feels slippy as anything on those pressures..

What PSI should you get from 205/40/R16 tyres?

Most cars, not matter what tyres really, should have around 30-32 psi in them. Unless your carrying a load, something bit in the boot/trailer etc, then about 35-37
|

35psi is way too high...
We run noramally 30psi 'hot' on the skyline

And what does that equate to `cold` AK ? about 32 ?

Cool so if i check mine cold it should be around 26 ish cause i reduced pressure when tyres were warmish

no... i doubt you'll get the tyres that warm in normal road driving....
Just aim for 30psi, which when hot will be about 32psi

Supposed to check tyre pressures on the flat and while they are cold ie before driving aren't you?
Should say in your manual what the pressures are supposed to be.
Over/ under inflate and you'll get uneven tyre wear.

over inflated tyres will wear the middle of the tyre under inflated tyres wear the outer tyre most cars run at 30 psi

yeah... road cars - check pressure on flat/cold to 30psi for a corsa type car
I run the 911 at wierd levels... something like 24/32
Skyline gets checked hot/cold and adjusted to suit feel etc.
imagine what this would look like on a soft walled 60 aspect ratio tyre

and as an aside to tyre wear.... your handling will be bad, not to mention dangerous on daft tyre pressures.
Too high and it'll feel like its on ice, too low and there will be too much flex, and be like a squidgey marshmallow.
Prob the best idea to use 30psi as a starting point and work up/down from that till you find what you are happy with if you dont want to follow guidelines

30 is a good place to guess at if you haven't got the numbers to hand, but you'll find the most common pressures are 2.1bar in the front and 1.9bar in the back (30.5 and 27.5)
It's rare for a car to have a higher pressure in the back than the front too, even if it's rear/mid engined.

well my rallye says 2.5 bar front 2.3bar rear but that feels like its on ice
