Been playing around with insurance quotes and I feel it may be time to move on from the corsa

As the corsa needs money spending on it (new engine) and im not sure if i want to as ive already spunked loads on it as its been a proper money pit since I got it my only thing is that I think I might miss it and regret it as I smile everytime im in it and it gets lots of good comments etc. Just that im getting bored of having my hand in my pocket every month fixing it rather then improving it or driving it.

Options are:

> 106/vts simular to the corsa and potentially as fun etc if not better. However this has money pit written all over it again on the plus side this will be no extra on insurance.

> Clio 172/182 had a short drive of a phase 1 172 and liked it. need more of a drive before I can decide. Should be more reliable as its newer and not fiddled with. Suprisingly good on insurance too

> Astra gsi mk4 always wanted one, best looking out of the bunch. Cheap to insure (ish). Never driven one though and lots of people seem to get bored of them so maybe not for me

>CTR drove one and loved it to bits but risk been labeled a cunt (dosent bother me tbh ) and its the most expensive to insure coming in at £1800

How often do they go wrong?

I was thinking of waiting for a already modded one to come up. ie suspension and a few engine toys.

depends how much your spunking each month on the corsa, as you say your spending more to keep it on the road and road worthy than enjoying it.
I was originally looking for one of the astras but they are hard to find in a good clean, low mileage example...so hard to find that i had to go with my second choice being the seat ibiza cupra.
The astras are far better than any car you mentioned above gav

hmm it would be lowered though, couldnt live with it sitting that high

Would be a good choice with my hope of doing a track day next year as it would be the most suitable from the list
