A whoooole month lol. I still have springs and shocks to fit and lower rear beam, new engine mounts, front towing eye, get buckets in, replace gear stick...

Mine's off the road ATM, no tax or ins. And with my new Student Tosser status I doubt it'll have either for years...
I will attend the odd track day tho in true trailer queen fashion, it's just I'd rather wait til its warm and sticky and have a fun day rather than freezing my butt off!

whats the deal with track days? i mean as someone who has never been before what would i need and how would i go about getting on track?

also what if my car is standard, would this be an issue on the day

Between you and I there's a little plan in the pipeline for this already which if its done officially will mean it works out a little cheaper for everyone. Its provisionally pencilled in for start of the show season April-ish time.

No issue with standard cars, lots of them are! You'll need a roadworthy car, Helmet and lots of petrol. Trackdays are great fun and they cater for all levels of experience

so if i got my hands on a helmet i'd be able to attend in my everyday 1.4 corsa for example?

The only minor detail as I should probably advise is that its not technically a CS event as such due to us probably needing to open it up for numbers. You'll see some familar faces there staffing it but I'm thinking the best format for such events isn't one which is tied to any one single model.
