Been thinkin about sellin my Escort. I am wantin to move out of home with my girlfriend so i could do with something a little cheaper to run and maintain. On the whole the car is in very good condition. It is washed regularly. The car shows no signs of rust like usual escorts. The battery tray round the sunroof and along the roof gutters and petrol cap are all perfect. The underside is in great condition too. The only bad points are that there is a few bubbles round the drivers side door lock and a stone chip on the rear quarter panel. There is also a palm shaped dent on the bonnet where it looks like someone tried do shut it.
The car is 17 years old and the bumper has a few stone chips. I did condider fixin and paintin the bad bits but i was scared about colour matches and i also like the idea that the car is genuine and not been messed about with

Car has done 105k
10 months MOT 4 months tax
Lots of old MOT and tax discs

The car has all new brakes. Front pads and discs and rear shoes and drums with rear wheel cylinders and bearings. It has had the turbo reconditioned less than 10k ago. Just been serviced with new plugs magnecor leads oil and filters. Had a cam belt in the same service. All new cv gaiters. The mechanical ABS has been serviced with new belts etc. It has just had a new heated windscreen fitted too. It had a clutch fitted less than 10k ago although it was a standard one.

Standard reconned turbo runnin 12 psi
uprated -31 actuator
Pace twin fanned intercooler
3 inch turbo back scirpion exhaust with 4 inch back box
Pipercross cone filter
Lowered 60mm on Gmax springs and shocks
Brand new Bailey dump valve
Samco boost hose kit
Lockwood white dials
Sony speakers fitted in place of standard speakers
I even have the standard tape deck and all other original parts like the intercooler and piping

Think thats about it. Probably forgotten some stuff though

Jon, give Eck a shout mate.

He's got a rather nice XE'd 'B' sleeper and he may beinterested in yours as he has recently expressed an interest in acquiring a force induced Ford. He was talking about a Fiesta, but he needs convincing he'd be far safer and better off in something like yours

no no no...you will regret selling it mate.

I was going to stick a post up on wednesday after seeing the car - "wash the poor thing"

Anyone who is interested in this car you will not be dissapointed.Its a proper tidy example and for very good money.

Ive just sold the golf so going to get a 106/306 diesel until the weather is better then il get the fiesta out.
