League will be worse off for it, he's been probably the most consistent striker in Europe for 2 maybe 3 seasons.

Said after Mourinho left that he wanted to leave at the end of the season- I thought it was just a big publicity stunt for press etc as that "rap" charity record he was part of was released the same week (strangely enough) Maybe it's true and he does want to go at the end of the season, although didn't he extend his contract by 4years in 2006 (?) so he would be at Chelsea for six years? I wouldn't be suprised if he did play for Mourinho again eventually as Mourinho's always admired him as a player even back when he used to play for Guingamp (before he played for Marseille) and no doubt he will probably make a bid for Drogba if the opportunity arose. Just my opinion though... It will be a shame if he did leave Chelsea at the end of this season, I think he should give it at least one more season. But then who knows what's going to happen eh.

That was Spurs though, if they were bidding for Anelka they'd be right in there with a £40m offer.

Once again this is Spurs you are on about. No one else would of spent that money on Bent, just like no one (unless Chavski think they are really desperate) will spend £19m on Anelka.

Although the £8m Ben Haim Spurs link made me laugh today

Neither are worth 15million at a maximum

They should have accepted the £12million, as i cant see why anyone would want to pay more
