you have to remove the cover beneath the steering wheel and remove the wires from the back on the ignition barrel. iirc if you touch them together the ignition should light up!

Unless the car has an immobiliser, which is highly likely, iirc.

Only one key. Such a pain in the arse!

Yeah has an immobiliser and key fob - may just jam a screw driver in and hope for the best

Yeah think so - but thats in the owners book in the car


You couldnt script this. I've NEVER lost a car key before, least its the weekend I guess and i dont really use the car much (due to a few shandies)

I once pissed about with the hazzard switch and managed to get the ignition on, must be something like used to be able to do on Novas

ah oops... i said that because it used to work with mine but as said, mine has no immobiliser or central locking.

yep.. turn the hazard switch upside down, which lights up the dash!! such security.

Didnt bother looking after work last night just went out on the piss


Got home today and had a quick search and thought, better check the bins....
