First he comes out with his comments about England needing an English manager...then thinks its great that Alumina can change and play for England soon.
But now he has come out - when their is no reason - and says its now a harder match at Goodison than it is at Anfield over the last 2 seasons.
Now, Mr.Wenger, could you please inform me of the league scores this season and last at both grounds and then take another look at your quote.

STFU you
I just dont understand wtf he is on about when you consider last season we beat them 4-1 and drew 1-1 this season. And last they got beat 1-0 at Everton and won 4-1 this season.

Maybe hes saying how Everton have come on over the last couple of seasons and now its harder to grind out a win there.
Either that or hes baiting Liverpool!

Based on this seasons home form for each team he is bang on the money if he was talking in general.
Problem is that a quote without the context in which it was said is easily misinterpreted.

You are looking at it very 1 demensionally though, based on points per game Everton have it.
Everton 22 points in 11 games (2 points per match on average)
Liverpool 17 points in 10 games (1.7 points per match on average)

Care to add in cup games too. And goals scored. And goals conceeded.
You know, so we arent looking at this 1 dimensionally.

Care to provide a link to the original quote and what context it was based on?
To look at another way;
Visitors to Everton have taken 10 points away from them in 11 games.
Visitors to Liverpool have taken 11 points away from them in 10 games.

You added up those goals for and against yet. Aswell as those cup games too.

I don't need to add up the goals for and against, they don't get you points do they? Results get you points and as a result BOTH of the statistics I put above edge it in Evertons favour.
You cannot include cup games as they are completely incomparable, Everton are not in the Champions league, Oldham (who I follow) basically did a fluke smash and grab on them.
I will read the link now!

Pretty inconclusive really Cosmo, the only thing I would say is;
"Benitez has received heavy criticism this campaign as his Liverpool side have failed to live up to their early season billing of title challengers. "
That to me would suggest that the person who wrote the report was applying the comment purely to league form but without the full dialogue of what was said its a bit hard to comment so I will stick to the only direct comparrison you can do at present time - the league.

Or possibly got bored of you
I stand by my point of bringing goals scored and conceeded into it, aswell as cup games.
And I also stand by my point about talking about Arsenal specifically, as who is Wenger to comment on if it was easier for other teams at either place as he would have fuck all idea about how easy or hard it was.

I feel he is weighting his argument unfarily though as how many times in the last few seasons has he played us at anfield in the cup aswell as the league? It's more than he's played everton at goodison

That Everton have been better at Goodison this season in the league than Liverpool at Anfield

Everton have let teams go away with less points yes. Who exactly has disputed that?
