Ok been on here a while so have decided to put up a project thread, have two cars so progress isnt mega-fast, ..
Now when i bought her, she was a bit of a travesty, low miles, but ultra-ragged bodywork! I've wanted a corsa project for ages so decided to get it and turn it's life around!! take a look at what it looked like when i got it home:
bit ridiculous as you can see, but a nice engine. day after i got it took it up to the farm and completly serviced and replaced everything i possibly could on the engine with the help of a few mates including: cambelt, sparks, air filter, oil, new discs and pads and so on.. was running sweet as a nut, should last me untill the next month or two when my ol' GSi lump will be fitted. so next I turned my focus on shitty bodywork.
First up was a reiger front bumper, M3 skirts, smoothed the arches (as were screwed in with wood screws!!), GAZ coilovers (really good quality stuff, and got at a bargain price!!) and also reapaired some cracks here and there, this was all done in one lump, so quite a big jump, and really pleased with the outcome:
Also Re-done bonnet (still rainbow metal-flake, but soon to be just black)
oh and i fergot.. some S/A rear lights, and new exhust system (powerflow w/ sports cat):
Next up was a single wiper (with jets built in, as none in the bonnet!!), German plates (no pics of front, will post up tommorow), also meshed the front bumper. Still waiting for a de-badged grill to turn up!
also in was some cali leathers, and a cream/black gaitor set:
So far so good, next in line in the coming week will be a semi-smooth (bought from corsa333 on here), colour coded door handles, Set of ROTA GT3's (same style but better offset as current wheels are ET35!!) and with the wheels will be a set of 90mm rear springs (with gaz rear shockers bought from hamish) sweet.
Any comments/critisisms welcomed, but remember is far beyond finished!! also need to get my other car through MOT so progress slightly slowed ATM
cheers

I like it. Do the centre of your wheels the same green Kawasaki uses
I think the number plate from the pic in your avatar looks wrong though.
Also, are your skirts on the wrong way round? Mine are the same. Maybe its mine that are wrong

They probably won't go on now as they'll have been cut shape for the sides they're on.
I got the green idea from this Clio....

should point out that plan is to put my old gsi into this, and sell the 1400
(very good nick so if anyone is looking......)
my GSI engine only has 29,000miles and much, much quicker so in a month or two will be going in!
and before you ask, a LET is out of the question on insurance till next year!!
