thought id make abit of a rough project thread as i never have

bought the car totally standard in 2001 with 16k on clock

these are the oldest pics i have of the actual car so after a few mods and a year or so later





then i went mad with subs and headunits etc .. which i have no pics of lol but thankfully i grew out of that

so on with the mods

next came bigger brakes and a 2ltr 16v




then in a random moment changed wheels as i like doing



started getting abit bored of the 2ltr and missed out on some throttlebodies so bought a c20let and f28 that a friend was selling nice and cheap

went about fitting that didnt think too much about intercoolers at the time and it ended up costing me more than i thought for shafts f28 mounts etc so kinda *bodgyfied* the intercooler
oh and changed the wheels again






fitted eds other bits and bobs , fuel pump etc
some people actually liked the vcr sticking out the bumper

that ran spot on like that for about 10000miles then the headgasket died .. stripped it down to and deciced the bored and pistons were starting to not like eachother so got another let block with better bores

rebuilt that new rings,bearings seals etc etc
got some new pipework and a new intercooler AND and new front bumper to hide it as it just wasnt going to happen with the standard one

came out to look like this






smoked headlights , reyland front brakes and other little things apared here and there after








and ran it for a year or so like that having mucho fun

yet another set of wheels


and new exhaust



bodywork started getting abit tatty . rust here and there ,arches getting tatty and paint fadeing aswell as aload of carpark dents etc

so after hving a hard think about keeping it or not i decided fvckit and kept it so off it went to the bodyshop






after alot of money . but they did an amazeing job imo

it came out like new!









then after missing them and the sofstars looking boring
the wheels chaneg again and the d90s came back







did a few shows and had total vauxhall feature it!!







.. wheels have changed back to the softstars now as it handles abit better on them and the d90s look good on my golf

so thats about it up to today and the clock is on 101000 miles now!

got a trackday coming up at cadwell next weekend so will prob put some pics up from that if i get any

sry i didnt get any nerdy/minceing pics of the engine out/inbits and rebuilding .. i dont normally take my camera down to the garage

best 1/4 with it so far was 13.3002 !! at 108 alltho the 13.2 would of been nicer considering its running standard turbo and full interior i was very happy with that .. had 3/4 of a tank of fuel too and im 15 1/2 stone

Love everything about it. The D90's suit it so well. Got to be one of the only Corsa's with that front bumper that i like. Just looks perfect on it.

Did look realy stunning in the flesh at Trax last year, hope to see more of it this year
