He'll still go down as one of the greatest strikers ever imo, just a shame the injuries and his fitness became a worry at what should have been the peak of his career!

His career (finally) effectively ended around 2001 when his knee went Pete Tong.
A great talent but also a whinging, moaning, money grabbing, backstabbing Judas.

I'll lose no sleep over his injury.

What goes around comes around, wonder is Berlisconi will sit by and pay his massive wages, nurse him back to health and fitness for near on two years only to find the backstabbing bucktoothed twat putting in a transfer request as soon as he finds a bit of form and sniff of interest from Real Madrid?
Nice way of paying back the man who Ronaldo one said was "like his father" with regards to how he was looked after by Moratti.

Good riddance to bad rubbish imo

Just before he went on to score 83 goals in 127 games in La Liga?
