im puttin a 1.6 8v nova gsi engine in my corsa sport do u no if there is any thing i need to change engine mounts etc

plus

will corsa sport drive shafts fit in to a f20 gearbox

starting transplant this weekend

What are you putting an f20 on? it wont fit the nova engine

Only 1.6 sport shafts will fit as there 22 spline

i had the engine and box running spot on in my nova before scrapping it i had shafts but got rid of them and didnt know wat shafts they were i was gonna sell the engine but its had a bit of work done to so gonna put it in the sport how many spline is the 1.4 must be 22 cos the 1.4 bpc and 1.6 box are f15

1.4 shafts will not fit, needs to me 1.6 sport or 1.6 gsi ones


Also ar you sure its an f20?

well it got f20 on it and came out of a cav it the breakers yard im goona get f13 for wat shafts will fit in that

Your 1400 shafts will fit the f13

well the shafts that were in the f13 box fitted the f20 box cos the engine ripped 2 boxes to bits
its been ported polished remapped its got kent pully and cam and the crank has been polished it did 158 with the f20 box i know i wa doin that cos i got pulled by the police doin that lol all fun and games...

that was at 5600rpm revs to 6800rpm

if it had all those mods plus a turbo it would still be struggling to hit 158 bhp imo.

beleave wat you want mat i got caught doin 158 and it w doin it at 5600 i also got a 2year ban and a 6month sentence..

with a f16 box my xe did 50mph to 2000rpm the f20 is about 5mph faster.

In what car was the engine in?

Was it running stand alone management? Even so with no forced induction or massive webbers you would have nowhere near enough power to be getting up to that speed even in a nova IMO.

So at 7,200RPM, you think an F20 box would do 200MPH??

the engine was in a nova runnig on twin 50 webers and thats goin abit to far it was at asteady speed prob with the wind behind me like i got the ecu from a crashed ex rally car from croft race track its also got a full janspeed system on to
