Because steves vast experience of playing flight simulators gives him a good basis of an opinion.

Yes, 100+mph cross winds are easy as hell to get a plane down on.....

not really, theres hundreds of crabbing plane vids out there all landing perfectly fine, in fact this probably happens everyday somewhere in the world, however the pilot was unable to land or made the bad decision of trying to land when he didnt have the ability to do so

agree with steve tbh the pilot should have pulled up way sooner if there was any doubt in him being unable to land safely


no doubt he is being laughed at by the rest of the pilot world...

what a stupid comment, how would you know? you have no idea of the conditions involved you have absolutely no idea how to fly an airliner, so who are you to comment on the pilot being rubbish?

the pilot realised the weather is bad, and attempted to land, when that wasnt going to be compeleted safely, he aborted the landing and pulled up for a go-around.
