hey guys i boutght this car bout a month ago and didnt like the kit but it DID have a c20xe in it so i thought why not. but i didnt get told that the engine was f****d and it lasted 40 mins and died so as i didnt have much money to spend i bought this c20ne of my mate.

didnt look that bad tho



so we started 2 take the engine out to either fix it or put a new one in








and in went a sri 130 (2ltr 8v) bit dirty tho


and now its jus sat on the drive dreaming of what it could be like




hopefuily this is what it will look like

i think the engine code is c20seh for the 130 engine....

lookin good m8. I'm doin one of these too! full rebuild tho and some carbs.

the c20ne is the later 115bhp engine, this replaced the SEH in later SRi's due to emissions.

the c20seh is the early 130bhp sri engine. They got rid of it because when ran with a cat, it failed emissions tests rather badly! It has higher compression and a different cam set-up.

both good engines tho!

dont think they made stock turbo 8v's?


I had an SEH and an NE, neither were turbo'd

Ne - 113bhp, SEH 128bhp.

Or you can be ghey and get an SE which is rare that puts out about 122bhp

hopefully if the moneys right the engine will be runnin this weekend and then all i a bit of bodywork and a spray.

no c20let is the turbo which is a 2.0 16v turbo
