for 'detailing'
I must be getting old, or time of the month or something.... but all this shit talk of detailing really hacks me off.
I mean, what the fuck happened to just WASHING your car, and then polishing/waxing it.
Christ.....
Clay bars, Snow Foam, Micro Fibre cloths, lube, blah blah
Its all farce!!! You're going to end up in the situation where your using cleaning (detailing) products worth double the amount of your car!

Got to agree.
Keeping the car well polished and clean is enough work, that kept me busy for 3-4 hours at a show as it was...
Adding another 3-4 stages, feck that.... Polish, wax, a GOOD cloth, thats all you really need.

i never call washing my car detailing.
i sdo like to buy good products though, such as polish, sealant, wax, clay bar, mf cloths etc.
if you don't like it, don't read it, simple as that.

The term "Detailing" is for bandwagon jumping retards imo
Wash your car, dry it and finally polish/wax it if you like.
Or take it to your local Tescos, park it up and let the Eastern Bloc chaps do it for £5

Yes if left on for a while, I don't rush out and detail the car everytime there is a bit of shite on it. I go out and wipe it off with a damp cloth as soon as it's spotted etc...

seriosuly though whats wrong with people regualarly cleaning there cars properly...keep its looking nice and keeps it in good condition......
you can do whatever you want to your own car! and look after it how you want......

I just think the term detailing is miss used I mean when someone throws a bucket of water over their car on here they claim its detailing
I think paint correction on cars does make a massive difference in the flesh but its a past time for some and not for for others...each to their own right?
Phi the thread is not disputing about looking after your car its just how some people get out of control with the purchase of silly amounts of products when essentially its not really worth it.
