Tried for two months to fix my misfire to get the car through its mot, tax ran out now so i went out and bought this to get to work and back. Keeping the x16xe corsa and gonna fix it still. But this is a pocket rocket in its own right to be honest.

I like them although they do have a bad rep for head gasket failure.

very good fun, we do a lot on these, with a good exhaust, decent filter extended down into the side pod, decat and a remap they see 170+ bhp. 2 of them we have done now have nitrous and make 200+ bhp.

I was looking into these. Is there a way of avoiding that 'common' problem of HG failure? Do certain models after certain periods of time have different engines or w/e?

My mum has a Rover 45 2001, it had around 33000 on the clock when the headgasket went. That had put me off owning one
