You're best off just going to the shops on release day. Rumour has it that Tesco will have it in before the 26th  .

LOL, I can't guarantee the Tesco rumour, but going to the shops on release is your best option now. I think most of the big retailers have sold their pre-order stock already.

When I was a stock controller for Tesco, my personal experience of the company that provide Tesco with entertainment orders (Entertainment UK) was that they were ALWAYS late at delivering. The last big PS3 title, GT5 Prologue, was at least 2 days late into all the Tesco stores around here.
Best bet is Game, Zavvi, HMV, etc.
Just my opinion though.

I only mentioned the Tesco thing because I read a news article that they advertised that they would release it on the 25th. Not sure if it's a misprint but that's what it said in one of their fliers.

get to your asda 24 hour store at around 8pm thats when the que's start. last gta they released.
at 10pm the que at the store i work at was silly big

i dont see the fuss of getting it earlier, anyone trying to go online with it earlier than the 29th will have their xbox live de-activated by microsoft anyway. i would be careful.

i didnt when i was playing rainbow six vegas 2 4 days before release. You cant punish the customer if its been bought from a shop that have put it out early or if say play.com send it out before release like they did with my RS:V 2.

yeah, im not the type to go all super geek and try and get it before its out but if it gets delivered early im not going to let it sit there till im 'allowed it'

ive never had a problem with microsoft regarding playing games early gameplay.com send me the game a day before release,dont know if its the same for everyone else,not often i use them now though as working for asda i just ask the person on entertainment desk to stash me one
