you sit and think why do i spend all my money on a car when you could save my money up and get a more newer nicer more practical car meaning no harsh ride and not spending stupid amounts of time on your car and getting no where?
i think iv just had one of those days
rant over.

thats why I turned the corsa B into a track car, sold the corsa C and bought a diesel vectra estate for work and a polo Tdi for everyday use.

Nope, never had one of those yet
I think I just sort of do things then get used to it as the norm, the only thing I've not liked is my exhaust but I'm happy to live with it now. Mine isn't great as a daily driver but I'm fine with it, my brother whinges about allsorts when he's in it, harsh ride, too loud, lack of interior etc. I'm perfectly happy jumping in everyday, wrestling my harness on, and driving off to work, loudly and feeling everybump in the road, barely able to move, power steering fuse took out etc. It's all good

dont get me wrong i love my corsa apart from the harsh budget suspension and the lack of power.
i got up at 5am to go to work early so i could finish early at 10am and get round to fitting my gsi rep skirts thats been sitting in my bedroom for the past 3-4 weeks.
it was all goin well when i noticed that i will have to jack my car up so i could drill the hole for the self tappers in my arch's but with my house been on a slope i would have to park it at the top of the street on the flat so i could remove my rear wheels to get the drill in,but i cant do it that way as i wont have anywhere to plug the drill in to with my house been at the bottom of the street.
i have a cordless drill but dont think it will be powerfull enough to drill the sill as i dont wanna do half of the job at the top of my street with the cordless drill and the other half outside my house with the plug in drill its just a right carry on.
so today has just been a complete waste of time and i have getting nothing done at all.

Look at your sig, " Vauxhall Passion & Pride"
Its not a waste of a day, in that day your realised that you need to move house to fit your kit.

Cheaper option could be an extension lead

Or, 5 10m ones
On the other hand, have you not got a mates or relations house where you'd be able to do it? Might be worth asking

tbh driving a done up corsa is different to driving a nicer better car that hides in the crowd,
i love driving round my corsa and it makes me happy,
i like the fact the a few people comment onit saying its nice, and also the fact that it makes me very happy
