As its getting to that time of year again I thought it would be worth having one thread to keep it all together, rather than a new thread everytime Wenger adopts a new African boy or Spurs sign another striker.

According to the Daily Mail today Wigan want Fletcher as part of the deal for Valencia and Palacios.

According to Rafa we have already signed 2 youngsters/first teamers and one first teamer who is not English but speaks it perfectly.
Recent rumours have linked us with a move for David Silva - thats coming from Guillem Balague who tends to be right about a lot of things when it comes to Spanish players and Liverpool.
Oscar Trejo from Real Mallorca is said to have agreed to join us on loan this summer with a view to a full deal.

He's very accurate!! seems to have fantastic knowledge of the Spanish game and obviously some good contacts.

He is good mates with Rafa and is a Liverpool fan himself so he tends to be right about our stuff.
It was in an interview with him that Rafa said we'd made those signings already, and since then Ballague has come out with little hints at who they could be!

Fuck knows why he'd sign both of them, they'll only be squad players at the most and can't see them playing many games

I don't think he'll sign those two players
The story seems to be popping up quite regularly though, Valencia was quite hyped up before the last World Cup but he's been pretty quiet when I've seen him.

Sounds like bullshit to me i'd have Fletcher over either of them. I doubt Ferguson would let him go either he tends to keep guys like him O'Shea, Silvestre as they can prove invaluable over the length of a season.

Oh, two others we've been linked with are...
Mancini for £4m as can buyout his own contract. We get linked to him every summer though
And the name being banded about for one of those youngsters I mentioned about is Moreno from Cruzeiro. He is Bolivian although has represented Brazil at youth level. Maybe Jiz will have more info on this guy though!??!

More news today abot a possible swap of Alan Smith for Cueller (sp?). Apparently the biggest things is Smith's £60k a week wages.
