Im sure it was only £50 to fill to the brim when I bought it 6 months ago.
20% increase in cost in half a year.........
Any advance on those hydrogen fuel cells yet
Im kind of accepted to theres nothing we can do about it, however 70% of the £10 a week (I use a tank weekly) increase (£7) is going to the government as stealth tax......the fuels only actually went up £3 a tank. So its really nothing to do with the oil companies really.
Im now £240 a month on diesel just to get to college 40 miles away (170 of thats tax ) - Public transports out the question as it would involve 2 trains & 2 buses & leaving the house at 5am 
Someone needs to storm the commons or something
Im not bitter, im just wondering when its going to make people crack.......it cant keep going up at the rate it has been! What do people think will happen in the next year or so? I predict a riot

problem is in small umbers you cannot dodge fuel as it does not have any impact but fuck yourself up. I.e refuse to work due to unable t get there, etc

Yep thats about right colin when i bought my diesel it was costing me £30-£32 a week.
8 months on to do the same milege it was costing me £40-£42
Scary when you break it down.

Its the tax that pushes it up, cost of oil goes up due to various things, increasing production costs, trouble in USA few refinerys went down, trouble in Africa affecting supply etc so the cost of a barrel goes up so the forecourt prices go up. Thats ok, its the fact that for every penny the forecourt increases the tax adds like another 2.5p on which imo their not due!

Think I'm doing around 100 miles a month in mine at the moment. So apart from the trip down to PVS, its not affecting me too much. Glad I can walk to work.

If the rising cost of oil means a 3p rise in petrol costs we get hit with 10p.....thats not playing cricket!

I do roughly 150 miles a day mon-fri, weekends I do 200-250+ a night, its costing me a fortune
Edit: £40 doesnt even fill half my tank, Mondeo TDCi.
