been a while since i posted on here to cut a long story short i bought a 1.6 sport the list of mods so far include:
:full respray in ford transit grey with green and yellow flake
:front and rear post 97 bumpers smoothed and sprayed
:d-badged 1 off front grille
:lowered -60mm front, -40mm rear
:cav gsi alloys with 55 tyres (changing to 7.5" steelies soon)
:semi smooth boot with solenoid wired up to rear wiper
:induction kit
:full 2" exhaust with standard gsi backbox
:gsi rear spoiler
:full leather doorcards (front doors and rear quarters)
:jbl amp and 1000w sub sunk into boot floor
:components in stelth shelf
:fusion 6x9 door build
:touch screen tv/dvd sat nat headunit
: official honda civic type R front seats in black suede with red stitching
:inlet manifold
:lightend cams/pulleys
:currently running at 140bhp at the wheels
:smooth fuel cap
:smoothed out side reps
:smoothed out ariel

will try my best to get pics up asap my digi cams gone on the blink at the min, let me know what you all think from the description, cheers, brad

140bhp at the wheels yeah alright mate fly most likely, if it's that high.

doesn't sound 'euro' at all to me tbh, would need to be lowered much more and not have generic wheels on.

put some pics up though to prove me wrong

thanks for the replys, the engine has had thousands spent on it everything that can be uprated is uprated and lightened, its producing 168 at the flywheel it wheelspins in 3rd and drifts round corners, and as for the wheels, if you look closer it does say im getting 7.5" wide steelies, with stretched tyres from from wide-wheelsuk and ive already lowered the back to -60mm i live in the middle of nowhere and the roads are crap round here lowering it any more will just knacker the car up, will get pics up asap, my digi cams not working at the min, brad

What steelies you getting banded/widened? 7.5j all 4 corners?

Should widen the rears to 8"

Might have to sell mine now everyone's starting to do banded steels

ano jimmy 2.1 i saw yours in the flesh at ISTS and just have to have some, i did have 8" polished porsche rims on it but they were 15" and the ride was unbearable, im looking at getting 7.5" at the rear 7" at the front, dunno what steelies to use yet tho, im gonna get a 4" lip on them, cheers for the comments, brad

I say 15's, but how are you going to get a 4" lip when your only banding them 1.5" wider than standard?

im just thinking what to do at the min so you think 15's would be best 8" wide with a 2" lip? what are yours jimmy?

My rears are 9" wide, fronts 8" wide, but remember my arches are wider so hence i can fit 9's at the back. The 8's have around a 3" dish

my arches have been flared and cut so i could get the porsche wheels on, but i dont think 9's will fit whats the handling like on yours?

cheers mate, just ordered some lenso bsx rims today will be getting them in a couple of weeks 15" by 7" wide with 195/45 tyres, and trying to sort out some 60mm springs for the rear

thanks for the comments, the wheels are soon to be changed i bought the cav ones ages ago and never got round to changing them.
