had all this on anouther forum thought id put it on here for a read

bought the car about a month ago now:

hi finally bought a corsa 1.4 16v sri today after looking for ages has got full bodykit (looks ok i think) dtm mirrors,pipercross induction kit, e.t.c needs a few bits doing to body dints e.t.c and bumpers spraying im happy with it be giving it a good clean and polishing up the wheels tidying it up really tomorrow so will put more pics up what you think?







update 1:

have bought all my new parts for head gasket cambelt kit e.t.c pics of head off checked to see if the heads warped and as you can see from the pics it is does anyone know where i could get it skimmed will ask peeps at work tmorrow but thought might aswell see on here









update 2:

right i ended up getting a spare engine took head off and used that so its just had new head gasket cambelt kit e.t.c its all up and running again now , ive taken the eyebrows off sold the massive exhaust and about a magnex 3 inch one and ive got my bumpers for sale on ebay at the moment see for sale section plan is put standard rear bumper on and a reiger front bumper give it a smoother look really tidyed the engine bay up abit aswell while i was in there also just purchased some 60mm lowering springs for the rear

hope to be on road by end of this month just got my bumpers to spray when i get them

update 3:

little update again loosely fitted the bumper im getting to see what it looks like re-sprayed my inlet manifold,lowered it 60mm at the back and de striped the doors not sure weather to keep the sri bit or not??

colour coded my door handles today and im de-striping the d/s door done the other just need to get the glue stuff off anyway thought id post pics of them

been getting bumpers prepped for spraying next week when my paint is ready smoothed abit out of the back bumper aswell should look better got a new exhaust aswell

cheers mate i tried one of them bumpers looked daft with my front one and that so thought id keep it to be different .shud be sprayed up and done end of next week or weekend


just been out and sprayed my wheel arch and refitted bumper so it dont get damaged on floor. obsessed with taking pics btw so take a pic of everything i do

Yeah doesnt look too bad But please put standard rear lights on it and remove the number plate surrounds The white wheels go well with the Caribic blue Keep up the good work mate

UPDATE

got my bumpers sprayed today got my mate to do it with a spray gun and that, think they look awesome love it taken a load of pics lol back bumper wasnt the best in the world and has needed alot of work and o think has come out alright will be replacing it eventually anyway just quickly fitted them, front bumper needs lining up abit aswell and some mesh putting in it will spray mesh black dont want chrome. also going to get a black de-badged grill will be replacing rear lights soon and getting new numberplates thats it for now pics
