At a guess...

Newer engine (less to go wrong, parts more accessable), lighter than the 2.0.

Not a lot more power than the 1.6 though. 128bhp i think.

Pretty much pointless for so little power gains. Probably best with a 2.0

z18xe in the corsa C
123bhp

vectra b used the x18xe that is almost the same as the x20xev

Astra G also uses the x18xe but the astra H uses the z18xe as does this new tigra sport.

Think the astras are Z18XEC (i think) and the Corsas are Z18XE, no idea what difference is

nope z18xe and z18xer in astra H

x18xe is only 113bhp for the record too

x18xe - big block like redtop

x18xe1/z18xe small block

will fit on standard mounts and box

suprised more people havent done this conversion

has 123bhp and similar torque, much better that x16xe
